SHIELD is a sound dampening panel designed to lower the negative impacts of construction site noise. Using a meta-material developed by researchers at Boston University, SHIELD can theoretically dampen low frequency noise about 50%. Beyond dampening noise, SHIELD reimagines what construction sites look like. Each panel is slightly different in its pattern, making every construction site look unique.
