HAVSBOTTEN

HAVSBOTTEN (oceanfloor in Swedish) is a candleholder inspired by the ocean that surrounds my hometown, Ljunghusen. Just below the ocean surface is a wavy texture caused by the waves gently passing by. This is mimiced on the surface of HAVSBOTTEN. To complete the aesthetic, it is made out of concrete. Each candleholder has been crafted by hand. This process gives every piece a unique finish. A small batch of candleholders was produced for the locals of Ljunghusen.
